The mission of Filipino-American Christian Church is to commit to the “Great Commandment” and the “Great Commission” for building and growing a “Great Church”. (Matthew 22:37-40; 28:18-20)
Welcome to the Filipino-American Christian Church. We hope you enjoy your online experience and get a taste of who we are. No matter what you believe, we encourage you to come and experience God’s love at FACC.
Join us this weekend for our Sunday service at 10:45am. We provide childcare for families with children.
We believe that the true church is made up of all people who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been made a new creation by the Holy Spirit. We are united together in the body of Christ as brothers and sisters and fellow servants giving our allegiance and service to Jesus Christ, our Head.
–Matthew 16:13-18; II Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 2:19-20
We believe one of the primary reasons the church gathered to worship on the first day of the week was to celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Communion). In order to follow that New Testament pattern, we choose to remember Christ’s death through weekly communion. Our participation in the Lord’s Supper is open to all who call upon Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
–Matthew 26:26-29; Acts 2:42, 20:7; I Corinthians 11:23-29
The Filipino-American Christian Church began March 17th, 1996. We are a non-denominational fellowship of believers participating in the brotherhood of Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. This brotherhood of churches supports a network of Christian ministries around the world. We are a part of the universal church in that we believe in the deity of Jesus, as the Christ, the Son of the living God, and as our Savior and Lord.
We believe that we are not the only Christians, but we seek to be Christians only. We adhere to the New Testament as our guide for governing congregational life. We try to speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent. We seek unity of understanding in the essentials of our faith yet do not suggest that we must agree on all things. Our hope is that in essentials there would be unity, in non-essentials, liberty, and in all things, love.
The scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the inspired Word of God, and our inspiration and complete authority.
-Deuteronomy 8:3; Proverbs 30:5-6; Romans 15:4; II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21
To bring people to Jesus Christ and membership in His church, develop them to Christ-Like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and life’s mission in the world, in order to magnify God’s name.
We started holding our services at our new home at 8018 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103 on March 1, 2020.
